Personal Life
Bruno is Brazilian and Italian, married, and father of two. He has a deep passion for literature and music. Bruno began his career as an engineer at my family’s space-sector company, which led him to pursue business management studies. Around 2021, he returned to academia, completing a Master’s degree focused on the emerging New Space industry. Currently, he is a PhD student at the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) in Brazil, where he explores the application of systems science to space policy.
Academia and Career
Bruno is currently pursuing a PhD in Space Technologies at the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) in Brazil. His academic research focuses on the intersection of systems thinking, innovation, and space policy, particularly in the context of emerging space economies. He holds a Master’s degree from the same institution, where he conducted an in-depth study of the Brazilian space ecosystem within the New Space paradigm.
He is a board member at Orbital Engenharia, a company dedicated to the development of technologies for the space and defense sectors, including solar arrays for satellites, sounding rockets, and hypersonic platforms. Over the years, Bruno has accumulated experience in corporate innovation, strategic planning, and international R&D collaboration through roles in both industrial and high-tech environments.
