Takafumi Nakamura was born in Kurume, Fukuoka, Japan and lived in Kyoto and Hiroshima until entering university. After graduating from the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Kyoto University, he joined Fujitsu as an OS software development engineer, worked as a liaison specialist for large computer OS at Fujitsu Australia, and after returning to Japan, worked mainly as a leader of maintenance technology development for computer systems thereafter. After retiring from Fujitsu, he has been appointed as a special professor at Daito Bunka University in the field of System Science & Information Technology.
